Wreck This Journal | Introduction

I recently saw this journal when I was browsing on amazon and having heard positive things about it before, decided to buy it (bit of an impulse buy I must admit) to see what the talk has been about!! My initial thought as I browsed through the pages was that I am definitely not going to be able to make it so dirty!! I love things to be neat and organised, with everything symmetrical and non smudged! As you can see from the introductory paragraph, it states that it may help you 'let loose' so I am intrigued to see if this will make me more 'relaxed'.

I plan to follow instructions in the book and let you in on what I have to do as a mini series on the blog. Keep in touch to see what awaits.....

Have you ever done this? Would you find it easy to 'Wreck This Journal?'

Muddles... Muddy Puddles

This weekend I went to visit my parents to clear out my teenage bedroom, sob! Mind you, I did move out properly a year ago and 4 years if you count being at University, so I did well :) As I've mentioned before, Martin and I love going on walks and whenever we go to my parents we always find time for a walk. Walking at home has the added benefit of being out with my gorgeous doggies! Watching Bailey swimming for his stick over and over is definitely something.

The fields were extremely muddy with even the roads and paths having big puddles everywhere, hence the inspiration for the name of this post. At one point I nearly lost my boot in the mud, which I'm convinced was like sinking sand! I did contemplate taking photos at this point but I figured that surviving the mud pile and not falling over was more important! There was also the added complication of a group of horses which took a shine to us- must have been all of the screaming! I will take this opportunity to state that the photos taken were all on my phone as I forgot to bring home the camera (typical!)

Naturally the sunshine added to the whole experience as it was a B.E.A.UTIFUL day. (cheeky Bruce Almighty quote there) I hope you all had lovely weekends and enjoyed the sunshine!

Time Management

“I am definitely going to take a course on time management… just as soon as I can work it into my schedule.” – Louis E. Boone

So I wanted to talk to you about my plans for this Blog with regards to a schedule of when I put Blog Posts up. In some aspects of my life I am super organised and in others.. not so much. I fully intend to make this one of the things in which organisation is spot on. Because of this I have decided that I need a form of schedule for posting my blogs. In the long run, I want to have common posts that are repeated, such as What I Have Done This Week/Weekend, or Weekly Thoughts etc. In the mean time, until this happens, I am aiming to post every Wednesday and Sunday at 8pm (So I've made a good start!). My idea behind this is so that you, my readers, know when New Posts will be going live and will be able to return as and when these happen. I am sure there will be times where there may be an extra post, differing from the schedule but I feel like I need to get in to a routine!

So far I am open to any suggestions on what types of posts you would like to see. I am very interested in positive thinking and wonder whether this is something you would like me to talk about? I intend to make this a lifestyle blog with beauty aspects, sharing my life and thoughts with you. I am by no means leaving this all in your hands, but as you are the ones reading, I would love to know what things you would like?!

I look forward to reading your suggestions (you can either comment on here or tweet me here)

Score Points With Your Boyfriend | Wembley Tour

So for our Three Year Anniversary last year, I bought Martin Wembley Stadium Tour tickets. As he is a teacher he only has holidays off so this half term has been the first opportunity that we could go.

Sunshine and Smiles

I don't know about you, but the weather seriously affects my mood. If it's a miserable rainy day with no sign of sunshine, I can't help but feel miserable myself!

How to | Deep Clean your Make up Brushes

Hello lovelies!
It has come to that time again where I need to Deep Clean my make up brushes. I'm sure that many of you are aware of why we do this and the importance of it, but, there are also those who are unaware and have gone months, years with the same dirty foundation brush! So let me tell you why we do it. When we apply foundation/powder etc to our faces using the brushes, we are also picking up bacteria from our face, which then lies on our make up brushes. The next time we use our brush the same thing happens, only now we our putting that bacteria which has been living in our brush back on to our face! This then continues and gets worse each time in a never ending circle!! This can only result in poor skin and breakouts of spots!
