IT'S SO FLUFFY I'M GONNA DIE!

When Shani from Fierce Obsession 'tagged' me in this happiness post, I jumped at the chance to post my interpretation of the initial idea coming from Lorin from Curiosly Lorin. Being positive is something I strongly believe in, culminating in believing that happiness is very much in our hands. To put it simply, if you think negatively about something, negative things are bound to happen. Likewise if you think positively and 'happy thoughts' then you are likely to feel happier.

Three Things That Make Me Happy:

1| Sunshine and Blue Skies. I know this probably makes everyone happy, but this is genuinely something that really effects my mood. I'm really looking forward to more Sunny Days. I hope!

2| Spending time doing my make up/experimenting. To some this may seem weird, but I am sure many of you fellow beauty bloggers will understand. There is nothing more I love than having as long as I need to do my make up!

3| Days spent with Martin. Spending good quality time with my boyfriend is something that really makes me happy. We can be doing something or nothing and its time that is always precious to me (Cheese Alert!)

I could honestly say many more than three things that make me happy and I think that it is a brilliant thing to do. So many times we can all get bogged down in feeling negative about things, that we forget there is so much in each of our individual lives to be thankful for and positive about. Also, If you can identify what makes you happy, on days where you need cheering up, you know exactly what to do!

I hope that this has helped bring some positivity into your day, and I encourage you to do the same!

Here's what to do next!

1. Copy or save the unicorn button.

2. Share with your followers 3 things that make you happy and ask them to do the same.

3. Tag bloggers who you think would love to do this!

4. Send any pics, links to your efforts to Lorin via the comments on this post. I don't know if this will work. But lets give it a go!

Different Flowers From The Same Garden

Hello you! So I have seen this floating around the internet and wanted to do it, so enjoy... Meet my sister, Suzie!

1. How old are you both?
K: 23
S: 20 (but 21 at the end of May!)

2. Describe each other in one word?
K: Crazy! (In a good way!)
S: Meanie! Awesome J

3. Do people ever get you mixed up?
K: Not because of looks, but if someone hasn't seen her in a while, they think Suz is the older one! Unfair!
S: Yeah, people often think I’m the older one (I don’t know why?!) Otherwise no, we look quite different!

4. What is something that annoys you about one another?
K: Her adamancy that she is always right! Haha she never backs down!
S: I am always right… Okay maybe not. Oh this is hard

5. What is it like being sister with a blogger?
S: Cool, although I keep forgetting to catch up on it!

6. Do you ever argue?
K: Sometimes, about little things, but then two minutes later we are fine :)
S: Yeah, I wouldn’t call it arguing, more bickering.

7. What’s the best thing about one another?
K: She makes me laugh. All the time!
S: She doesn’t mind playing with my hair, and always helps me out if I need it.

8. Dish the dirt?
K: I can't think of anything. How boring!
S: Oh gosh. Umm. She loves Disney, but I’m sure you guys already know that!

9. Fave inside joke?
K: Our weird wave we do when we leave each other, I can't even remember where it came from!
S: From Disney princesses! Apparently they’re taught to wave properly in Disney World so they don’t hurt their arms, ever since we wave in a funny way!

10. Fave memory together?
K: Ooo, in our old house we used to have a toy cupboard under the stairs and we turned it in to a den and literally sat in it playing (hardly moving)!
S: Probably times on our old day boat. They were great! Or this time when we were in Canada when I was 4 and she was 7 we were watching tv home alone and kept ducking when people went past. Probably my earliest memory!

11. Full sisters/half/step?
K: Full :) Though sometimes we joke about Suz being from outer space! :p
S: I am not adopted!! Full sisters, yes.

12. Guess each others fave singer?
K: Urmmmm, You Me At Six? :/
S: I don’t have a foggiest!

13. Who takes longer to get ready?
K: Haha definitely me!
S: Um definitely!

14. Heels or flats?
K: I love the look of heels and wish I could wear them all of the time, but flats are way more comfy!
S: I kinda prefer heels, and I normally wear them if it’s a nice-ish do (only because I’m tiny) but everyday it has to be flats!

15. Pants or dresses?
K: I wear elasticated jeans ALL the time! So comfortable.
S: I want to say dresses, but I probably wear jeans more.

16. Favorite animal?
K: Pig!
S: Dog! I love my doggies.

17. If your house was burning down, and your entire family was sure to be okay, what would you save?
K: My make up and hair tools! Haha
S: Do the dogs count as family? They definitely are. My books probably!

18. Comedy, horror, or chick-flick?
K: Out of these I would say chick flick, but I usually prefer crime dramas/ thrillers.
S: Chick-flick definitely. I don’t do horror well!

19. Blackberry or iPhone?
K: iPhone! I don't know of many people who have blackberrys anymore!
S: iPhone! Blackberrys are so hard to use.

20. Favourite movie?
K: How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days
S: How To Train Your Dragon (how funny that both of ours are how tos!)

21. What is something weird that you eat?
K: Nothing! I don't eat anything weird at all, I'm very fussy
S: Ummm not sure really. I don’t think there’s anything particularly weird!

22. Do you guys have anything matching?
K: Ummm, I don't think so?
S: I think there’s one top we both have? Otherwise no.

23. What's your favourite TV show?
K: At the moment I'm watching Criminal Minds and Game of Thrones
S: I’m watching Game of Thrones (snap!) and Pretty Little Liars. It’s super good!

Blogger Bargains

I'm sorry I'm so late in bringing you the second part of the #BloggersDoItBetter Challenge, I have been thinking of lots of ideas but simply couldn't bring myself to write the post, until one day, shopping in Sainsburys, I came across these bargains and had to share them with you all. This is also (sort of) my first haul on Tinkerbell Kelly so I hope you enjoy...

Phil Smith Big It Up Volume Boosting Spray
Personally, I have not heard about this brand before. The fact that nearly every product was on promotion makes me wonder if it is a new brand, not a clue, if you know please enlighten me! I have been looking for a product to help my hair get some volume, however all of the products I have heard of have been fairly pricey. When I saw this at half its original price I decided 'let's give it a try' and so far I have been suitably impressed.

Nivea Soft Moisturising Cream
I recently started using this half used tube of Nivea cream that my friend didn't need any more and have become ob-sessed! I use it on my face and my hands and can honestly say my face has felt amazingly soft since! I have previously used the Simple moisturiser which I have always sworn by, but this is on another level of softness. Even softer than a baby's bottom!! Therefore, I was off to repurchase it (the whole reason I was in Sainsburys) when I saw that it was reduced by a third, so naturally bought the bigger pot!

Dirty Works Buttery Salt Scrub
Whilst down the bath aisle, I saw all of the Dirty Works products. Straight away, the packaging reminded me of Soap and Glory products, though my immediate assumption was that its a cheaper version of it. All of their products were on offer for £2 each so I decided to purchase this to try and get my skin feeling nice and soft ready for summer. I have used it once so far and it literally feels like you're rubbing coarse sea salt over your body. Lovely. The effects afterwards are definitely worth it though. Just make sure that's the last thing you do in the bath unless you want to feel like you're having a bath on a bed of sandpaper!

Dirty Works Bath Soak
This is the second Dirty Works £2 purchase I made. I have been needing a new 'bubble bath' and this caught my eye and smells lovely!

Have you tried any of these products? What do you think?

Liebster Award | Part Three

Welcome to Part Three of the Liebster Award! If you keep up with my posts, you will know that I was nominated THREE(!) times for this so I decided to separate my answers in to three different posts to make for easier reading!

My last nomination comes from Rosie from Rosie's Cottage. Here I will be answering her questions...

1. What's your favourite movie?
How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days

2. What's your favourite Book?
Harry Potter or Hunger Games

3. What makes you laugh?
I have a lack of common sense, so tend to ask stupid questions, then laugh!! Also Martin makes me laugh ALL the time. A quality in him which I love.

4. Music? what/who do you like to listen to?
This is a very common question as I've answered in on previous Posts and Tags. I listen to Chart music the most.

5. What's your favourite season? Are you a summer person, or do you prefer Spring? Winter? Autumn?
The periods at the beginning of Spring and beginning of Summer.

6. How much time do you spend working on your blog?
Not as much as I should. OOPS!

7. What is your favourite quote?
Laughter is Timeless. Imagination has no age. Dreams are forever.

8. Who inspires you? Who do you most admire?
This question has been on all three of my Liebster Award questions! How interesting. Here is my answer:
Noone in particular. I see people that inspire me all of the time. People that work hard to achieve what they want in life.

9. If you could change anything in the world, what would it be?
I would change all of the discrimination in the world to people just because of their race/ homosexuality/ disability/ beliefs.... the list could go on. Nobody should have a preconceived opinion on someone based on these. This is a topic which I strongly believe in.

10. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would be your dream home?
Haha in Part Two I said this was a recurring Topic: DUBAI

11. What's your favourite food?
Pastaaaaaaaa! I love love love it!

Liebster Award | Part Two

Welcome to Part Two of the Liebster Award! If you keep up with my posts, you will know that I was nominated THREE(!) times for this so I decided to separate my answers in to three different posts to make for easier reading!

My next nomination comes from the most local blogger I have found (ha!), Shani from Fierce Obsession. Here I will be answering her questions...

1/ What’s the one bit of advice you would give to someone starting a new blog?
Definitely stick to what you believe in and want to write about. It shows if you are blogging about something no of interest to you. Stay true to yourself.

2/ Who inspires you?
This was a previous question on Part One. I have no specific person who inspires me, I meet/see people all the time who inspire me!

3/  Where in the world would you most like to live?
At the moment I really want to live and work in Dubai for a year. (Recurring topic ha!)

4/ What do you do in your day job?
I work with children, every day is different and they come out with the most wonderful things!

5/ If you could only eat one meal everyday for the rest of your life what would it be?
Pasta! No thinking time needed for me there.

6/ Besides blogging, what’s your favourite thing to do?
Go on lovely exploring walks with my Boyfriend.

7/ What's your favourite type of music?
Mmmm I like music that is in the charts!

8/ How would you describe your style?
I would describe it as boring, but that's me!

9/ If you could be anything in the world, what would you be?
I would absolutely love to be able to afford to be a stay at home mum/ house wife. As weird as that sounds!

10/ What is your one beauty must-have?
Okay first I thought Foundation, because I have such uneven skintone. But then I thought 'What about Mascara?' In truth.. I don't know! Cheating I know sorry!

11/ If you could ban a word or phrase from ever being used again, what would it be?
YOLO!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness. No explanation needed. (Brilliant question!)

Wreck This Journal | Update 2

Hello you! Welcome back to my Wreck This Journal experience. If you haven't seen my first two posts you can find the Introduction Here and Update One Here.

I have had some time to sit down and work through some of the instructions given to me in my Journal. I have to say, that as I am working through them, I am still choosing the 'easier' instructions, forgetting that if I do all of these now, I will eventually have to do all of the 'messier' ones together!! But for now take a nosy at my results...

This took a LOT longer than I had anticipated it would! My hand hurt so much by the end of it and I must say I think its really pretty. What was the title of the book again?  'Wreck Beautify This Journal' That's more my cup of tea!

I don't know about you, but I am SUPER impressed with this Left hand writing of mine!! I haven't tried for ages to write with my left hand so I was surprised when the writing turned out to be legible! The flowers are a little dodgy so clearly I'm better at writing than drawing with my left hand!

My Happy Prescription

At the weekend, Martin and I embarked on an adventure on two wheels! Yep, we went on a bike ride. We actually both have bikes of our own, only Martin's is broken and we had no way of transporting them to where we wanted to go so we hired a couple. Now I LOVE bike rides, the breeze running through my hair, feeling like you're going super fast (even though you're probably dawdling), the ability to cover such a wide space in a small amount of time. However, I had not been on one for a while.... Needless to say, I had very sore legs (and bottom!) after the hour hire time! I had such an amazing time though and where we went all you could hear was the birds and the wind in the trees.

If you need a way to relax and feel good about yourself, I definitely prescribe you some fresh air, sunshine and exercise. It does wonders. As always, the camera came along, so below are some moments we captured. I hope you are well and enjoy.....
